Daniel made my one on one training informative and easy to learn in a relaxed environment, where I felt totally at ease to ask any and all sorts of questions. Daniel has given me the confidence to show my images and not be worried about trying something new. Daniel’s knowledge is vast and I know that there is more to learn, so I am looking forward to booking in for more training with SPW, Daniel and the team.

Daniel is amazing. I felt so silly with requiring help with things that were just so basic but he really made a difference. I feel like he was able to connect with me and switch that lightbulb on!
He was so easy to work with and the information was just so relevant and easy to understand and it felt so comfortable- like a mate was helping me out with some tips. Even though I was so nervous to meet him given how I have been following his work and almost felt intimidated in the lead up to be working with him given his talent. He was just fantastic and I cannot speak any more highly of my experience overall.
I cant wait to book in for some further workshops!

I just wanted to thank you guys for my experience yesterday. And not only that but the service and follow up I received from yourself in the lead up to my tuition. Daniel is amazing. I felt so silly with requiring help with things that were just so basic but he really made a difference. Proof will be in the pudding when I whip the camera out tonight and start playing but I feel like he was able to connect with me and switch that lightbulb on!

We had a private One-On-One session with Daniel for my 12 years old daughter. And what a joy it was to spend time with Daniel and hear him explaining the fundamental things about photography in so uncomplicated and straightforward way. The basics of photography could be quite daunting and be intimidating in the beginning and he made it so easy to understand. I could see the face of my child lighting up with excitement as she was finally grasping the links between the “holy trinity” of the ISO, shutter speed and aperture.
This is not going to be our first and last visit. Wendy and Daniel are very relaxed, approachable and welcoming people and we are looking forward to many more lessons to book with them. I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

Daniel and Wendy were so welcoming, warm and down to earth. I really needed an individualised session to help me pull my knowledge together. Daniel was amazing and I walked away feeling great about the time spent chatting and going through my plan for an upcoming shoot. One of the best investments I’ve made in myself in a long time. Both myself and my daughter Carinna enjoyed our 2 hour photography course with Frank very much. He was very easy to speak to and spoke in terms both of us could understand. We both had no idea on how to use our cameras but left very happy with what we had both learnt. Would not hesitate on recommending Frank or Sydney Photographic Wookshop

    Dear Daniel
That gift voucher from my family in NZ was a fantastic birthday present! I enjoyed the private tuition with you immensely and promise to practice all you taught before our second session. You have boosted my passion for photography. Not only are you a talented and experienced photographer, you are also a very skilled teacher. I am no longer nervous about the Manual Setting, and bad light is not so bad after all – thanks to your guidance! Your invaluable explanations were devoid of jargon; hence grasping the techniques for good exposure was easier. Best wishes and every success to you, Wendy and the Team at SPW. Needless to say, I am so looking forward to my next photography lesson with you.

He is a Professional Photographer with his passion and skillful teaching.
You will be glad that his tuition is so relaxing and enjoyable. Free and easy mode.
He was really patient to explain everything from top to bottom and from functions to functions so clearly to me,
he also let me took many shots from different shades to get the correct idea of the darker and brighter pictures.

After the 2 hours of awesome teaching I felt I can start to use my digital camera to shoot photos and angels that I want without any worries no more Cannot wait to carry my camera to travel around soon.

Decide, Decide & Measure to get the “Lights” of your desire. Adjustments of each stop of the brightness are important to remember as well. All these combinations are the key to photography said Daniel.
He added keep trying and practising will make you a better photographer.

This private tuition class is definitely recommended to come if you are keen to learn faster and want to get to know more about any specific DSLR that you do not know how to use. I had a wonderful time.

My wife and I had a private tuition session with Daniel and can definitely say that Daniel is a very professional tutor, providing advice, guidance, and assistance at a level and pace suited to the client. Although we have been shooting for quite a while we had some questions on flash photography and decided to take up the opportunity of private tuition. Daniel was more than happy to answer every question we had thoroughly as well as providing handy advice along the way. We definitely recommend Daniel to anyone wishing to learn more about photography or looking to improve on their camera skills.

I had my one on one course with Daniel which was like I light bulb switched on in my head. I literally had to hold back the tears in his lesson because the way he explained things was so clear to me. I have dyslexia, numbers are a struggle for me because of how I see them so I was a little scared that something I’m so passionate about I wasn’t going to be able to understand. I can’t wait to start using what he taught me. I have tears in my eyes writing this because I’m so thankful and grateful that he was so patient and understanding. I’m Beyond happy with this course. Thank you Daniel you will never understand how important yesterday was for me. I was going to give up.

What a superstar Daniel is. I approached the 2-hour session with trepidation as I’ve never been a confident photographer despite owning and using an SLR for 20+ years. Daniel quickly understood my level of expertise and set out some very practical steps to competently use manual settings for portrait photography. I left after 2 hours with a new enthusiasm and can’t wait to put some of the learnings into practice. Worth every cent. Thank you, Daniel and Sydney Photographic Workshops.

I can’t recommeded Daniel and Wendy enough. They were good enough to honour a voucher I had let expire and the tuition was first rate. Daniel really knows his stuff but was still happy to ‘dumb it down’ to a level I understood. Being a total novice with a speedlight, he really opened my eyes to how valuable a tool they can be and the many different ways they can be used. The tuition has definately motivated me to start getting my camera (and speedlight) out more.

AWESOME! Daniel took it back to basics, exactly where I needed to go. In an extremely casual, comfortable environment I was shown functions of my camera I didn’t know existed. He explained everything so clearly and in basic terms that I could understand. I didn’t feel embarrassed about my lack of knowledge or experience and was able to purely focus on what I was learning. I found the tips he gave me extremely useful and have already put things in to practice. I thought the 2 hours would fly, but without even realising, Daniel had covered off everything I had asked him to without it feeling rushed. I will be recommending to my colleagues.

Great to have Kim explain some of the finer points of what I hadn’t quite grasped at the 8 week course 18 months prior, and review some of the pics I’d taken in the meantime. Also managed to give me a few quick tips on Lightroom which will help a lot with editing the final results.
