What’s the best photography course for beginners in Sydney?
Our 8-week Beginner Photography Course is Sydney’s most comprehensive and hands-on introduction to photography. Held in our Alexandria studio, it covers everything from camera settings to creative composition and is perfect for DSLR or mirrorless users.
Where are your photography workshops held?
Most of our photography classes take place in our Alexandria studio, just a short walk from Redfern Station. Some workshops are held on location across Sydney, including Circular Quay, Kings Cross, and the Sydney Harbour Foreshore, depending on the course.
What kind of camera do I need to bring?
For most workshops, you’ll need a DSLR or mirrorless camera with manual mode. For our Smartphone Photography Masterclass, any modern phone camera will do.
Are your photography workshops suitable for absolute beginners?
Yes. Many of our workshops are designed specifically for beginners. Courses like our Beginner Photography Course, Photography Essentials, and Smartphone Masterclass require no prior experience and will build your confidence quickly. Private Tuitions can be tailored for any skill level and topic.

What’s the difference between the Beginner Photography Course and Photography Essentials workshop?
The Beginner Photography Course is an in-depth 8-week program held in our Alexandria studio. The Photography Essentials workshop is a shorter 4-hour outdoor session ideal for quick skill building along Sydney’s Harbour Foreshore.
How many people are in each photography class?
We keep our class sizes small to ensure personalised guidance. Most workshops range from 6 to 12 participants, and private tuition is capped at 2 students.
How do I book a photography workshop or course?

Do your courses include post-processing and editing?
Yes. Our dedicated Adobe Lightroom Course is a 4-week hands-on class that covers editing from capture to export. Some Post-processing discussion is also touched on in most of our other workshops.
