  1. I recently attended the Speedlite Essentials Course at Sydney Photographic Workshop with Daniel Linnet and was very impressed. The course was informative, practical, and well-balanced between theory and hands-on learning.

Daniel’s clear and engaging style made complex lighting concepts easy to grasp. He explained not just how to use flash, but why it works, which really helped my understanding.
The workshop was also fun and supportive, with plenty of real-time practice.I highly recommend this course to anyone looking to improve their flash photography skills.

  2. I am so pleased I went to this workshop as I have been avoiding using my flash unit for too long. Daniel is a great teacher, very easy to follow, with a well structured plan for teaching this workshop. The number of participants was a good, size, not too large so our questions were welcomed and answered appropriately. Thank you Daniel.

  3. Last Saturday, I had the pleasure of attending the Off-Camera Flash workshop at Sydney Photographic Workshops. The course exceeded my expectations! The instructor was incredibly knowledgeable and patient, breaking down complex concepts into easy-to-understand explanations. We had the opportunity to practice with a model, which was invaluable. I’m so excited to continue my photography journey and explore the possibilities of off-camera flash. Highly recommend this workshop to anyone looking to elevate their photography skills!

  4. Daniel and Wendy consistently deliver outstanding photographic workshops, and their newly formatted Speedlite Essentials workshop is no exception. This revised course adeptly covers the fundamental principles of speedlight photography, making it an excellent preparatory resource for their upcoming 2025 intermediate Speedlite workshop.

Designed with clarity and practicality in mind, this course is particularly beneficial for beginners looking to grasp the intricacies of flash photography. To maximize the learning experience, I strongly recommend bringing your own TTL-enabled flash. This allows you to observe real-time results directly on your own camera, reinforcing the concepts covered in the course.

An invaluable educational opportunity for anyone eager to master speedlights, this workshop sets a solid foundation for future photographic endeavours.

  5. Speedlite photography workshop, my third workshop with SPW.
The bombardment of valuable knowledge and tips on the topic of flash photography which i received from Daniel will immensely guide me along this road of photography I have chosen to embark upon.
TO NOTE : I had no previous experience with flash photography at all!
This workshop I guess is for everyone and anyone who is serious and sincere in photography!
And it would be a miss if I don’t mention the hospitality and ease that Wendy provided!
    Chocolates and all.
    Thank you Wendy!
