Speedlite photography workshop, my third workshop with SPW.
The bombardment of valuable knowledge and tips on the topic of flash photography which i received from Daniel will immensely guide me along this road of photography I have chosen to embark upon.
TO NOTE : I had no previous experience with flash photography at all!
This workshop I guess is for everyone and anyone who is serious and sincere in photography!
And it would be a miss if I don’t mention the hospitality and ease that Wendy provided!
Chocolates and all.
Thank you Wendy!
This is my 2nd workshop with SPW, of all the many workshops I’ve attended from other providers – I have learnt the most right here at SPW. Really enjoyable as well as so much learning! thank you SPW, I’ll be back for more!
Thanks for the great Speedlite workshop on Saturday. Lots of information presented in an understandable way with practical demonstrations. The two shoots with the models were great fun and I’m really happy with the images I was able to capture on the day.
I attended the Speedlite workshop taught by Daniel Linnet, and it was extremely well taught, used time efficiently, allowed for lots of technical detail for those who wanted it, and in general far exceeded my expectations. The way we made use of the studio for both small and larger set-ups was really informative, and the models on the day were both excellent. But mainly Daniel has spent years developing his own professional methods and it is so much more effective to watch and learn from someone doing things as you go along and be able to ask any questions, then to only try to read and watch how to do new things on your own. I learnt a lot about working in totally different ways to what I had previously ever done, and what types of equipment can be used for both small and larger budgets. But the whole day was also just easy-going adn great fun with a lovely bunch of people!
I’ve been to a couple of course here and they’ve been a lot of fun – but moreso, very informative.
Having done photography for fifteen years, watching endless youtube videos, practicing, playing about, chatting on forums, buying all the gear and accessories that promised improvements I still felt there was something lacking in my images, so finally went to “bite-the-bullet” and do a course.
A quick look at Daniels portfolio was enough to sell me on he knew what he was doing, but he’s also well versed in converting that knowledge in to understandable steps as he guides you through a workshop.
Both courses have been very influential in improving my photography, something that’d grown a little stagnant over the years, where I can see leaps and bounds in improvements in just the few months since attending the first, far out stripping anything over the past ten years.
I think a lot of people look to buy “better gear” to improve their photography, I know I have, buying these workshops though made a bigger impact than any body upgrade or shiny new lenses ever have.
